Hello.
Though i really like the NEW graphite tools (i say NEW bacause most of them are simply the old poly edit tools in a new location), some improvements would be required, such as a mirror function for the Shift tool.
Another thing that could be improved is the shift loop tool. When pressing “shift” the new loop may follow the flow of the surrounding surface but it ALWAYS places it in the middle of the distance of it’s bounding loops. It would be nice if it followed the surface but was placed where the user requires it, thus preventing him to have to further slide the edge.
The symmetry tool has some issues too. If a part of one side passes through the other the mirroring will be distorted (for example if you have a character with horns that start from his head, pass through his face and each one slightly passes to the other symmetrical side, the symmetry won’t work (it will do something but the model will get distorted)
And secondly, why do i have to have a main model at the first place? Why can’t the symmetry tool simply see the arrangement on one side and mirror it? (as Zbrush does)
