Name says it all. I would love to have opentype fonts supported by 3DS max. It would be much cleaner and simpler to do logos without having to go through a bunch of other programs first

Seconded - I’ve been on subs for years and keep expecting each new MAX version to support OpenType fonts - after all, these are system supported font files and are now the standard font format across platforms; this is frankly INSANE. As a graphic designer I’ve got thousands of fonts, and managing duplicate copies in Windows just to have TTF and OTF versions is not at all desirable. Sure I can make text in Illustrator, convert it to outlines, export an AI and bring it into MAX (except MAX’s AI import is crap - hint: export a version 8 EPS file and rename it to .ai if you have problems) but that’s a pain in the rear.
