I’d like to add Inventor style constraints.  I know they exist but no where near as functionally applicable.

Read Step files.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD fix the import headaches w/ Inventor, keep some of the constraint properties, have work geometry options, fix the crappines of the imported model mesh, and why on earth is there a need to have a material property for every single item???  It’s the same material in IV and maintains the exact same properties.  And why do the materials have to be Architechtural?  Can’t they come in as something less computationally extensive.  What the crap, they’ve had these programs for ages, all under the same company, and can only integrate their products at a snail’s pace.  If they’d start integrating the 3 together w/ any real progress their market share would skyrocket (wait a minute I forgot we also need alias cause IV does crappy surfaces).  I love Adesk but constantly find myself defending them after the other programs moved ahead while Adesk is trying to keep up.

Joe, you can post this in the Wishlist Forum.  I understand Autodesk people DO read through those, and have sometimes added things suggested there.  This forum is more of a peer-to-peer discussion group, and seldom does anyone from Autodesk come through here.
