Trying to view .fbx file in Quicktime,

Crash every time we open an .fbx file

We are running
mac os X 10.5.6
Quicktime pro 7.6.0 (1290)
Macpro 1.1 8 X 3.0 GHZ Xeon
4GIG RAM
Radeon X1900

You aren’t alone in facing this issue.  In fact, all users who’ve downloaded the QuickTime plug-in for Mac were not able to open FBX200900 and FBX201000 files without crashing the player.  Again, this is isolated to just the Mac version of the plug-in.  As this was a serious issue to resolve, we have already done so.  The QuickTime FBX 2010.0 plug-in for Mac has now been replaced with a working version on our website: http://www.autodesk.com/fbx.  You’ll notice a small note next to the link indicating that the plug-in has been updated as of today, May 12.  This new plug-in has been fully validated by the FBX QA team.  If anyone runs into issues, similar or dissimilar, please post them here.
