Hello,
I would like to ask why I can’t view or convert a dxf file (attached) to fbx with any FBXConverter (2010 and 2012 tested)? What are the limitations?

Thank you very much
Kostas

Hello Kostas!

We stopped supporting DXF files starting in Autocad version 8.  So, unless your DXF file is from version 7 or older, you will not be able to convert them to FBX.

Also, even if you were to export a file from Autocad version 8 or newer, if that file contains objects from Autocad 7, the conversion to FBX will be incomplete.  The objects from 7 will not be included.

If you have any more questions, please let us know.

Cheers!
Carlos
