Hello,
I have a question about exporting polygons from 3dsmax to Maya.
Usually I would use OBJ for this anyway but I am interested in transferring the creasing info as well.
First of all I can’t seem to export an EditablePoly object without getting the following error:
“The FBX Plug-in has detected turned edges on Editable Poly objects. In order to preserve these
edges, the plug-in has triangulated these Poly objects into Editable Mesh objects. “
Is there a way to detect those “turned edges” in order to fix them?
If that would be possible, does the Crease value that can be set in 3dsmax, be transferred to Maya? (I know it works the other way around Maya->Max...)
