Hey folks,

I’m both proud and pleased to announce the availability of the new 2012.1 FBX Converter Toolkit.  You can find it on http://www.autodesk.com/fbx.  Our FBX Converter developer worked hard to revamp this tool and provide a bunch of new tools, making this application a one-stop shop for everything you should need in order to work with FBX files; you have an FBX Viewer to view files with (you can open multiple viewers at the same time and sync their playbacks), an FBX Explorer to view the contents of ASCII and Binary FBX files, and an FBX Take Manager that allows you to extract FBX animation takes from MotionBuilder-saved FBX files.  All in all, this is an exciting time for users of the FBX Converter and I encourage you to download the free application today to explore it for yourself.

Also, our learning team provided a video that demonstrates these new features and introduces how to use them within a production context:

Enjoy!
