Hi, my question is if FBX converter can convert .ma files, .mb files, mudbox files, softimage files, maya animation files. .3ds files, .xsi files, .obj files, .mlt files, .rig files, motion builder files, bip files, etc..

Hello gustavoladino!

No, the FBX Converter does not convert all of the file formats that you listed.  The following is a quote from the Autodesk website: “FBX Converter, Transfer files from one file format to another quickly and easily with the FBX Converter. This utility enables you to convert OBJ, DXF™, DAE, and 3DS files to or from multiple versions of the FBX format.”

If you are working with Maya you can easily convert your files into FBX by downloading the FBX Plug-in and exporting your work.  You can find the plug-in here: http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/item?siteID=123112&id=10775855

If you are working with Softimage, the FBX SDK is already integrated allowing you to export your work into the FBX format.  The same thing applies to Mudbox.

Cheers!
Carlos
