I’m trying to import this model from the latest version of Revit into max2011 design. Sometimes it worked properly, other times I’m having issues whenever 3ds max tries to import it. It basically stops during the “conversion data” phase after the “reading” phase, and on the link manager a symbol with a red flag appears.
I tried everything: changing the revit setting import (by material, category, family), not linking but simply importing the file, trying to decrease the number of elements to import directly from revit. Don’t know whether this depends on revit or 3ds max.
Any idea?

Thanks

Ok, seems that there’s no one out there. As usual I’ll answer to myself.
It looks like TURNING OFF the RPC objects in Revit allows to export pretty well everything. For some reason these bad guys create problems while importing in 3DS. Hope this can be useful for others having this same issue.
