So here is the deal, ive built up my model in Revit 2010, i export it as a fbx and bring it into 3ds max, and save it as a 3ds. The model renders fine on my laptop but when i try and send it to our render farm the file will open, the render window will come up and then crash and backburner manager says “an unexpected exception has occurred” and yea.
i know that i am sending the file correctly because i can send models made in 3ds max to the farm perfectly fine.
w/ the revit base model i have gone as far as deleting all lights and assigning all materials to the 3ds max default and still receive the same error.
Im hoping someone out there can point me in the right direction to resolve this issue.
Thanks in advance for any help
