I export a scene via MAYA and i have the 2011.3 maya plugin and the 2011.2 quicktime plugin installed.. when i view my scene in quicktime the object that the transparency slider is set to semi transparent appears totally solid no transparency whatsoevver//

What am i doing wrong?
please help

Hi 3dtrialpractice !

Actually, you aren’t doing anything wrong, opacity is not currently supported by our quicktime plugin, however this issue has been logged and will hopefully be resolved in a future release.
