Hi,

I must use the fbx sdk in an old project with Visual C++ 6 (I know it’s a dinosaur...)

but it seems that VC6 is no longer supported, I’ve got some template build error

someone succeeded to use the last fbx sdk with VC6 ?
or could you have an older version that could be compatible ?

please help ;)

Hi Nico,

You could download FBX SDK 2006.11.1 from the Autodesk FBX website (look under SDK Archives). It is the latest version using VC6.

thx Viviane,

I don’t find the archive sdk section on the autodesk website… so I found this :
http://www.rocketdownload.com/program/autodesk-fbx-sdk-162776.html
but it’s the MacOS version and there are no Win32 librarys

could you please give a link ? :)

Hi Nico&Co,

- Go to http://www.autodesk.com/fbx
- Click on “Download Free* FBX Software Development Kit (SDK)”
- Fill in the fields and submit (FBX SDK is free, but you need to register)
- Go down to section “Previous Versions” and click on “SDK Archives”
- There, you have “FBX® 2006.11.1 SDK”. Click on that link and you have choice of windows, linux, mac and irix platforms.
- Download the windows version, it includes a library for VC6.

Regards,

Viviane
