FBX plug-in failed to initialize in 3DSmax.

I installed the 2012.2 fbx plugin on 3ds max 2010 32bit. but when I boot the max, it failed to load the fbx plugin, it said

“failed to initialize Error code 127”

.

my system is windows7 64bit, the max already installed sp1.

Somebody help me~~~

I saw you posted this on both FBX Plugin and SDK forum.
That’s not necessary, for plugin related issue, you’d better only put it on the Plugin forum, there are more plugin experts and it will be easier for you to get a proper answer.

And here are some possibilities that I can think may lead to the issue, please check:
1. In your case, Windows is 64bit, Max is 32 bit, so how about the FBX plugin, 32 or 64 bit?
2. Did the plug-in is installed in right place?

If the above are not the reasons, then please try to get more help from the Plugin forum.

I checked again and again, neither those reasons you mentioned.

I doubt whether the FBX 2012.2 plugin have to install on 3DSMax 2012 only ?

FBX 2012.2 plugin have three installers for 3dsMax 2010, 2011, 2012, so make sure you are installing the one for 2010 if you are use Max 2010.
