Hi.

I updated our toolchain today to latest SDK 2012.1 from 2010.2 so I would get the progress report from KFbxImporter. Sadly did I discover that the most time was not spent in the importer but rather in KFbxGeometryConverter::TriangulateMesh.

Is there a way to get a progress report from that function?

If not, you could triangulate yourself.  Most of the time you are just splitting quads.
