Anybody have any thoughts on HDR workflow? The only thing I can think of is re-linking my bracketed exposures to create a set of texture maps, then making HDR’s out of those. But that’s a pain.

I would recommend producing tonemapped images for your calibration and then texture in another application that supports HDR ie maya or 3d studio w/ EXR files.
