i would like to warn anyone here using imagemodeler 2009 on mac OSX: do NOT upgrade to OSX 10.6 or keep a partition with 10.5.8 if you want to continue to use imagemodeler. it won’t even startup under 10.6. i discovered this today after a few months not using it. now i needed it for a job and… bummer! it’s a shame this useful app is now only acessible with a package or subscription from autodesk. also, i do not understand it from a business point of view as at least for mac, there’s no alternative product on the market. photomodeler is windows only. but if i will need to use this kind of tool more again, i will probably buy it and use it under my bootcamp setup - at least it’s investing in a supported product. after all, it is not more hassle than having to reboot in 10.5.8 each time. sorry, but i have to say that upgrading IM to 2009 was really one of my worst investments in software so far.

well, i hope that at least i can reactivate my license on a fresh installed 10.5.8 partition on an older mac supporting it.

of course, if anyone knows a cure to this… any tips are really welcome.
