In Lustre I have to do what we as editors have to do on a daily basis, create a new version. I’m trying to do a CHANGE CUT. I dragged a smoke timeline into Lustre which created a new scene. I then did a grade and saved that grade. I now have a new version or CUT. In EDITING/BROWSE I have 2 versions, Version01 and Version02. Version01 has the grade I want to copy to Version02. I select Version01 and load the GRADE for that version. I then select Version02 in EDITING/BROWSE and press CHANGE CUT. The cut does in fact change to Version02 but there is not GRADE on that new cut. In addition, when I load a cut, the last GRADE is not selected for that cut. Seems to me that it should load the current grade when loading a CUT. Anyway the CHANGE CUT is killing me. Must be something I’m doing wrong.

Sorry about the rant, it does seem to work. It just doesn’t update the storyboard to reflect the updated color correct. ARGH.

hi, it’s always the grade that drives in Lustre, meaning when you load a grade, the cut (timeline) comes with it, reverse is NOT true.
To update the timeline use Shift + .
The change cut workflow is:
Load timeline1 in editing/browse, create a grade in setup/grade (grd01), colour correct, save your grade.
Create a new version of your grade in setup/grade (grd02)
Create a new version (grd03) and load timeline2 in Editing/Browse
In setup/grade load grd02, go to Editing/Browse, click on timeline2 and hit change cut
Voilà, you have in grd01 timeline1 and in grd02 timeline2 with the same grading!
I’m currently preparing videos for Lustre/FlamePremium workflows, stay tuned!

Change Cut is working fine but if a shot will be extended at the beginning of the shot and there’s a keyframe too, then the keyframes are placed at the wrong position (always at the beginning of the new shot, but the keyframe normally starts later).
Do you have the same problem, too?
No Match Option solved the problem. All my Keyframes -> and the shapes are no longer correct timed.
It seems that the Keyframes always refer to the wrong frame after ChangeCut.
What can I do to solve the problem. Plz help me…
thx a lot

Hmm, feels like an old bug, thought that was fixed, how was your timeline generated? From Smoke, with the Lustre conform?
To update the colours in the storyboard go to the first shot and press Shift + .
