I think I saw a version of lustre for linux a long time ago down in santa monica at autodesk headquarters.  Is there a non incinerator version of lustre for linux?

Thanks

Yes. It is Lustre Master Station and runs on Linux. They have them at the Venice, CA office if you would like to see it.

Please forgive my ignorance of such a basic question but all documentation I have seen is for a in line clustre processing for incinerator.  I was just wondering if there is a cheaper version on linux that is just the linux version without incinerator.  Can I ask what version it is?  I assume its all 2010 service pack 2, but any insight to this would be helpful in our decision to buy.

thanks

Lustre has been available for a while in a stand alone configuration on Linux and is currently running version 2011 SP2.  Call the Venice office at +1 (310) 396-1167 for details about a demo.
