hey guys i have another question hopefully its a quick fix. i have a globe that has dots on it. At a certain part of my animation i want the globe (which has a .tif attached showing the earth with transparent ocean, so the transparency slider is used by the .tif also) to fade to clear only leaving the red dots floating in space. ill attach some images showing what i have. I can set the material alpha gain and get it to do what i want in the view window but when you go to render it the image is right back on the globe and not clear like i would like.

can any one help

thanks

first 2 images are of the view window,
4th image is of what i need it to look like rendered at the end.
