I am trying to animate a ribbon bow untying itself using splines with extrusions and I am having great trouble creating the knot. Does anyone here know of any good tuts out there that will help me?
I have tried Google but haven’t found anything which is why I ask.

i’d suggest instead to use a ribbon rig. It’s pretty flexible for this sort of thing, coupled with corrective blends, would should be able to get some good results.
