Hi

I have some problems with bake simulation and smart bake.
I have a cycle which I want to convert to keyframes over time.

In older versions this was no problem, but in Maya 2012
smart bake sets the keys not on full frames,
so I get keyframes that look like this
1.01 and 1.9 and so on…

anyone an idea?

You can do a bake channel from the graph editor,
but why does smart bake not work any more?

ive never found that? and we use smart bake a fair amount for baking out constraints.
Do you mean as your watching it bake and its going to frames 0.9, 1, 0.1?
If so that because its sampling the in’s and out’s of each frame and working out the angles against its given tolerance, which then helps it to decide whether to key or not on the next whole frame.
If thats not the issue, i’ll have a deeper look.
