I think its because human Ik uses a few scriptJobs (mainly event driven by selection change).
I haven’t really used it myself, but I have come across this issue before, where the culprit was a scriptJob running a messy script, although it could be unrelated to the issue I had.

lol of that im not sure.
I did just have a quick play with the hik, and i couldn’t reproduce the error, so i could be wrong. in the mean time, i suggest saving, (backup) and delete your prefs and open a new instance of maya.
