Hi Guys! I have a serius problem with maya 2009! I’m animating a character, complete with character sets, during the animation my character is constrained to another object. The problem arises when I want to animate the constrained controller: it doesn’t move. Until now I solved this problem with a group (contrain the group and leaved the controller free) but in this situation I can’t. I used the animation layer that allows its, the problem that if I have the character set it’doesn’t work, and if delete the character set from the scene it works. I tried with simple objects and I have the same problem (using character set). Help me please!

Best!

I always found that constraints threw up problems if you constrained across different Layers so I always constrain and animate constaints in the base layer. Does that help?
