when using the substitute geometry in Maya, it creates an intermediate object that drives the geometry. IS there a way to not get that intermediate shape. A way to bake it down to a an object and maintain the skinning would be helpfull. The problem is that fbx exports the intermediate in the fbx file as an actual object. We do not want the intermediate object in our exported fbx. So either an option on the fbx export that does this or a way to remove the intermediate from the scene would work as well, either way. Help or thoughts would be appreciated.
