I’m pretty new to Maya and how created a basic character, given him a rig and made the keyframe animations. SO how do I save the animation? I’m planning on making 3 or 4 separate animations that have to be mapped to separate button presses and I could use all the help I can get. Thanks.

couple of different ways.
My personal preference is PAIE.

You can also select your controls and create a clip. This can be exported and imported between scenes and then dropped into the Trax editor to drive a rig.
