Hello,

I am in the middle of installing Maya 2008, And I am now up to the point where i have to enter my License. Well my problem starts when I have to create the directory C:\FLEXlm, why do I have this problem is because I don’t have a C drive but I have a D drive. How can I get around this?

This question has lots of threads on multiple forums.  There is an Installation and Licensing guide

can either map a directory to be drive c:

or set environment variable MAYA_ALT_EN to point to license file file directly

step 1:  read Maya installation and licensing documentation

to map a drive letter:

My Computer->tools->map network drive…

to set environment variable

My Computer->Properties->Advanced->environment variable
