Hi everyone:
I’m a beginner with Maya. I have a Macbook pro 15” ( bought it in 2006) and I don’t know if I can use Maya 2008 on my laptop or not??

I ust got Maya for my 15in Macbook Pro and it does work although I think a mouse would be a great addition, I do get by.

I use it with a 15” Mac Book Pro that’s about the same age. 2 GB Ram and I’ve never really had and problems with it. I did buy a Kensington Mini 3 button mouse to go along with it. I like it more than my G5 Power Mac so sometimes I’ll hook my 23 inch cinema display up to the laptop. Do yourself a favor though, If you going to be running the laptop for extended periods of time, buy a fan system. Keeps the bottom of the laptop much cooler, & happier.
