For some reason, whenever I try to change the orientation of an object to a multiple of 6, Maya will refuse to actually place it where I wanted it ( or atleast, that’s what I’m seeing in the Channel Box/Layer Editor window ) .
For example, should I try to set the rotation on an object to 6, I get 6.000000000000001, 12 is 12.000000000000002 ...
I also often get similarily odd values when translating objects with Snap to Points on.

Does anyone know what causes this, and, more importantly, how to fix it, if possible?
