I have a mesh of a female that i imported into maya. She was originally made up of parts. I combined all the polygons to form one model. When i bind the skeleton and move her the skin tears apart and holes appear. I tried to fix this with Paint Weights tool but I can see when painting that maya thinks there is a division on adjacent skin parts? ..I tried to sit there and manually merge vertices once they tear but then other places tear apart on skin when I move skeleton...can some please help me or maybe send me a link to a maya file of a plain generic female model that is made in maya? thanks!
