I’m working in Maya 2008 and
having a problem when I create a camera.
Whenever I create a new camera, my scene goes blank.
I have tryed moving the camera around, with no luck,
still can’t see the scene.

Could you be a bit more specific?

Creating a new camera makes the scene go blank, or you mean, when you look thru that new camera - the scene is blank?

No, I mean I can’t see anything after I change from the perspective camera
to the new camera. panels>perspective>camera1. I also can’t see any of my objects in the scene
if I try to look thru the camera. If I pick the mesh in the outliner and press f, the mesh appears for
a second then disappears. ??????

Sounds like you need to adjust the far clipping plane on that new camera…

I agree with n8skow. Check the camera near clipping distance is as small as possible and increase the far clipping distance to a ridiculously large number. You can do this with the top and side views as well.

hope this helps :-)
