I a soon about to start with maya and i wanted to know that is there any diffrence between maya 2009 and 2009 unlimited.I found out that with unlimited a ‘nparticles’ have been introduced..but i also read somewhere..that the two releases were merged....is that true?.Plus the autodesk website is confusing me http://usa.autodesk.com/maya/compare/
it says maya 2009 neither has nparticles nor ncloth..not even fliud system..that has to be a mistake ..right?
one last thing is that which generates better results fliud system or the nparticles..
thanks

a) You’re three versions behind. Why not get 2012 instead of 2009.
b) Complete was the cheap option, Unlimited the expensive one. The were merged with 2010. The distinction no longer exists.
c) Fluids does better fluids because only Fluids does fluids.
