Cannot delete history

Hi , I know this is a silly question which is becoming a serious problem to me. I have been modelling a character for the past few days and I am not able to delete its history. I tried edit>delete by type (history , non-deformer history) and I also tried delete all by type (history , non-deformer history).The history has been keeping track of all extrude , tweak etc. Now when I select a vertex it takes a long time. It has stored more than 100 tweaks till now , which affecting my system and my work flow. Hoping to find a solution to my problem.Btw I also tried delete history command from the script editor , doesn’t seem to solve it either :((. And also I tried exporting my mesh without history to a new file , didn’t work.

you might try piping the outmesh from your geo’s shape to the inmesh of a cube’s shape node…

see that they are now the same…

and then delete the connection and export out the now history-less (what was once a cube) object.
