Hi so i was opening a model the other day and after i closed it out and opened maya up again my grid and the workspace area are just completely and utterly blank for no apparent reason....  As can be seen in the attached Image.... The workspace doesnt seem to be doing much of.... Anything in general..... I mean if i rotate it moves but no grid or anything.... The workspace usually resets with a new document or file and its not showing the new grid or anything else and this makes it substantially hard… This happens with it being split to.... I am no sure at all why it is doing what it is and its quite bothersome so any help would be immensely appreciated....

Screen link follows as it doesnt want to attach hehe.... maya.jpg

Please note i have tried a resinstall as well as getting rid of registry entries and stuff in the application data folder… The script i added in mel through copy and paste is still there so i assume there is another area to remove since its not removing completely....

Could you please tell me exactly how you did this. I am a student and am trying to get some homework done. I reformatted my comp and after having the activation issue with Maya 2011 I am now having the exact blank screen issue as you are. If you could quickly take me through the steps you did to solve this issue I would be so grateful. I am in a panic as I have not gotten anything done due to Maya.

Thank you,
Jessica
