Hello Everybody,
i’m trying to import a scene to photoshop but i can only export OBJ objects from maya. Is it possible to export the whole scene, with the lights also reacting on the image. Does anybody know a way to deal with shadow in order to make the integration between Photo image and 3D image (Any tutorial would make my thing!)
What about the IFF format? Is it outdated since photoshop 6?

Thank you for helping!

I’m sure there are many Photoshop users in our forum here - but you’ll probably have better luck asking on a Photoshop related forum.

Hello;
as i dont get any answer i just ask this : what is the best export format to work with on Photoshop or ANY photoshop-like software. The problem is taht 3d studio can be imported perfectly, its formats are reconized, but not for maya… Is that mean that we have to switch and work on 3ds?

downloading new maya now, and I am going to have the same question for sure. Mudbox perhaps? It claims to have a psd export. but i guess that would be just for painting...which is what i need:) cheers!

ps. depending on what you want to do, exporting an image sequence into PS should work.  I do that all the time from C4D:)
