Hey all,

I’m trying to load a blendshape node on the driven side of a set driven key and every time I’m click “load driven” Maya crashes. :help

Does anyone know of the problem here and if there is a work around.

Thanks.

I’ve never seen that and it works fine here. I’ve attached a simple scene with a driven blendShape node. See if you can load that.

[edit] I forgot that this forum doesn’t let you attach files. Here’s my example: ftp://thnkr.com/incoming/trythis.mb

Thanks.

I’ll give that a try and let you know my results, but I think I figured it is just a problem with that particular node. Other Blendshape nodes load fine as driven nodes.

My work around has been to create custom attributes on a null, connect them to to the problem blendshape node then drive the custom attributes via a set driven key. For some reason Maya doesn’t mind the connection being made directly with the Connection Editor.

gonna try to solve via Expression, lets see if that works -.-

PS: i just tested your file out, and with that it works correctly, but why is it?
