Hello there,

I sculpted a model in Zbrush and transfered it too
Maya. It was transferred at the lowest subdivision
level. In Maya I painted the weights and animated
the model. Then I increased the subdivision level
in Zbrush and transfered a new higher poly mesh
of the same model. I want to know if it is possible
too transfer the information of the animation on the
on the model, IE; the rig, and the painted weights
and ALL the hours of work, and all the animated keyframes
with it. The model shape and textures are the exact same, only
more detailed in the amount of polygons that are used. Can
all the work I’ve done be transfered to this higher detailed
replica? Can Maya pull off thee old magician switcheru?

Thx

Paul
