I am having problems with my shelfs.

The problem I am having is that when I try to move a button from one shelf to another, it wipes out all the buttons on the shelf that I am moving it to leaving me with only the one button that I moved.

If anyone has any idea as to why this would be doing this, I would be most appreciative.

I am using Maya 2009 on windows XP 32 bit.

Thank you.

I’m not seeing this on Maya 2009 on windows XP 32 bit.

Are you sure you had any buttons on that shelf before you moved the button over?
(sometimes shelves get emptied during startup if there is some error in creating the first button)

Can you reproduce this?
Will it work with simple or garbled mel scripts, or are you moving around pre-defined shelf buttons or menu-item created shelf buttons?

if it only breaks when you’re moving a particular shelf button, can you post the contents of this button?
