Can u apply fields to a wave wake?

When making water in maya should i try moving any vertecies and key it or should i just use the options in the OCEAN.

If i need to make ocen i will use maya ocen itself...bcz it easy to use (if its away from the camera its more good) nd later in composite i will use some more animated foam into the ocen do CC and its all ready to go....i think that’s the easyest process of doing it....may be someone knows more better idea then this...if so plz share....thanks

For an animation or will you be exporting it to something else?

From your previous post - sounds like your using Maya Unlimited, correct?
Are you wanting to create this with Maya Fluids or are you trying to go with solid geometry?

Yes im using maya unlimited. I went into fluid effects from dynamics and created a OCEAN i prob should hav played around with the attributes before asking so sorry.

I tried plsying around with nDynamics to amek a ocean with that to see how it would work but i just got lost and didnt know what i was doing.

check out the Maya Help section on ‘Ocean’ - it explains what each attribute is, lots of things you can tweak in there
