I am running Windows7 via Boot Camp and have run into a minor problem that I can’t seem to work around.
I can load 0000.jpg as a texture without any issues, but when I select the “Use Image Sequence” option, Maya can no longer see the frame. After some digging, I noticed the UNC pathing difference…

It wants
“\textures\dynamic_spark000.jpg”
but is finding
“/textures/dynamic_spark/0000.jpg”

If you have run into this, how did you fix it?

FYI - I created a folder on my desktop with the textures, and it still can’t find the frames once the “Use Image Sequence” option is pressed.  So this doens’t appear to be a Boot Camp / UNC issue.
Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

rename your images like this “\textures\dynamic_spark.jpg.000”
