Hi guys new to this place and new to Maya really although I have learned autocad.
I need help in figuring out why I keep getting this error when I follow along the eyeball tutorial from gnome workshop.

The error is this;
//error could not find UI element named “”

This occurs when I go to change the ramp texture to visible under the Hardware Texturing in the blin.

You were given a solution in the thread you posted at http://forums.3dtotal.com/showthread.php?t=52373 The posters there thought the problem is with your prefs files; renaming the prefs folder and letting Maya build fresh prefs ought to resolve the issue.

You know last night I was messing around with another drawing and I think I may have figured something out.
I got the same thing but when I was playing with the texture options it worked out somehow.
Unfortunately I am such a newb at this point I do not know what it was that did it and it was so late.
I will look at that step again and post it, if it works out just so ppl know.
