hello, I have a problem with the ancient Maya, in versions 2008, 2009, 2010, the problem continued, and in an uncontrolled spin 3d maya, I initially thought the problem was the mouse, I changed the mouse but the problem continued, I do not know if the problem is with the video card, and my NVIDIA GeForce 8500GT, 1024MB/128bit/DDR2. but if the problem is not with the video card can be with the windows?, I use windows xp 32bit service pack 3. not to mention that often disappears Mental Ray, could you help me to solve this problem my old, with Maya, I would be happy to know the cause of the problem, Thanks.

Your viewport spins on it’s own?
Not sure I understand your question…

As far as MentalRay not being accessible, you may need to reactivite it in your plug-in manager.

If it is the problem I think you are having it is an issue with Maya. Select the camera, I assume perspective, and open its attributes.

The rest is from memory since I am not near my Maya machine. I believe it is the section on pivot. Do you have some strange numbers in there? For me the problem only happens with an established scene. If I start a new scene I have no problem. If that is the case for you then just start a new scene and look at the numbers and re-enter them in the problem scene. I think they should be all zeroed out.

I will double check later tonight.
