Hi everyone,

I used Autodesk Maya a few times and created some shorts with it.

But for my new project I want to add a character into a real world/video.
Like they did in this video, http://vimeo.com/48488815#at=0

So is there any way to do this, Any tutorial?

Thanks for the help.

(I know it is hard to do the lighting effect)

It would be a combination of motion tracking, compositing, image based lighting - and of course the actual modeling and animation…

Your question is fairly broad though - is there a particular aspect your struggling with?

Well, the part I struckle most is. How I place the animation in the video.

That means, how do I the lighting in the video and on the animation?
Any tutorials for this?

(Thanks for replying ;) )

I think you have here all the worflow for complete intégration in real world , include , rigging and lighting. With maya package you can do all, matchmover for tracking your real-footage , export data camera and footage into maya to integrate your character , exporting all your animation in composite for compositing and final render.
