Every thread I had read beats around the bush and doesn’t supply a clear answer on if your Student Edition assets are converted into commercial/professional license when saved in said latter edition of the program? I’ve read you see a watermark when opening a file, but does that watermark persist when you save in the professionally license version of Maya?

Thanks for the assistance,
Brad

Good question.
Can you post up a sample scene from the Student version?

I would like to know for certain if there are any issues when up grading to pro, too.

And while were on the subject (if no one minds me asking here) Is it true that student receive a discount when they up grade to pro? Or is that just internet story telling?

Partly true. You can “upgrade” a student version to a full version, for the upgrade price.
