I have this exact problem as well.

It just popped up for no reason that I can think of. It wasn’t a big deal at first, only a few custom MR shader icons stopped loading but now its a really big problem for me.

All xpm icons from plugins, shelf buttons, hypershader etc don’t work, and when I go to assign an xpm icon to a custom shelf button or whatever else I get this kind of error message.

“// Error: file: C:/Program Files/dRaster/maya/drInit.mel line 1620: Unable to spawn the xpm2bmp converter. //
// Warning: File not found: nex/multiEdge.xpm //

This makes plugins like NEX completely usless as all the icons in the control panel are xpm format and therefore none show up. :(

I really hope someone knows of a solution to this problem, I have tried reinstalling the program etc. And even though I have found numerous reports of this problem online none have come up with a suitable solution.

It seems something is not working with the xpm2bmp converter . But I have tried replacing all the relevant xmp2bmp executables with no luck.

Any ideas?

Thanks
