I have Maya 8.5 on my MacBook Pro. I recently purchased a Windows based desktop and installed Maya 8.5 on that computer as well. Everything has been working fine, but today I go to do some school work and my grid is not showing up. It looks like a graphics card issue. I went to use Maya on my MacBook since it was working on my desktop and it is having the same problem. I have had Maya 8.5 for about 8 months and have never had a problem with this before. i can’t understand why this issue would all of sudden come up. Can anyone help me? Thanks. -Josh

what makes you think it’s a graphics card issue? do you have other display problems?
have you checked to see if you turned the grid off?
In your view port, show->grid
