How do I show viewport objects in color?

Is anybody know ,once I created object it always shows only wireframe,is anybody know how to show the object completely in colors?

I’m still new in Maya and usually works in 3ds Max.

There are many different ways to view your models.  Press “4” for wireframe and “5” for shaded…

Keyboard shortcut:
1 2 3 ---> Selected Geometry smoothness
4 5 6 7 ---> Wirefame, Shaded w/o Texture, Shaded w/ Texture, Shaded w/ Texture & Lighting (if you have light on the scene)
8 ---> Toggle Paint Effect mode
