Dammit… the Maya 8.5 and Maya 2008 icon are the exact same.  When I was trying to find the slide edge tool in the polygon marking menu, I was actually in Maya 8.5.... Ha!  Anyways, if you have an older version of Maya and want to edit the default Marking Menus for Polygons, turn on “Echo All Commands” and begin the hunt.  I spent a day getting there until I realized that I’m a complete idiot.  :)

dagMenuProc....have fun.....it is a sea of menus.....and don’t change the maya one...copy it to your local script folder, it will over ride the install one and be easier to delete from your folder......the book mel Companion gives the best marking menu tutorial I have seen......and fyi ..... “go leafs” has a tool box tutorial on his personal page at cgtalk.....I think that is his screen name.....he is on the maya modeling team....and a big hockey fan....hangs out in the mel forum at cgtalk.

I am here as well :-) And I second the idea of making sure you copy the file to your script folder.
