Hi guys,
sorry for being such a noob but I can’t figure out why, when I try to import image planes to my 3 ortho views, they’re imported in differents sizes..
I prepared them in photoshop so they’re all the same size and they line up perfectly, but I just don’t know how to make them keep their real size.

Thanks a bunch

Please clarify how your bringing the images into Maya - are you using Maya’s image plane node on the camera’s themselves or applying your images as a texture to a plane in the scene?

I’m presuming you are using the ortho cameras image plane method, 1 tip, don’t :)

if the aspect ratio of the images you are using is square (ie pixels on width is same as height) make a plane and assign a new lambert, map a image into the colour channel of the lambert, duplicate the plane and rotate in 90 degrees, assign a lambert to that plane...... Hit 6 on keyboard to view images, prob best to assign the planes to a layer and lock it so it doesn’t get in way of modeling and its easy to hide when you need to…
