Dunno if this has been asked for this version or not (if so, I apologize) I currently run Maya 8.5 on my MacBook Pro, and I am wondering if it is compatible with Snow Leopard (OS 10.6)? Thank you in advance!

Hi,

I am running Maya 8.5 on Snow Leopard and it works fine. However I am running it on a Mac Pro 8.

Regards,

Carsten

Hi,

I would be interested in how you got Maya 8.5 to work in Snow Leopard. First I tried my original disks which failed on version. Next I downloaded Service Pack 1 and then edited the postinstall file to support 10.6, however once installed Maya OPA wouldn’t recognise my dongle even with the latest updated Snow Leopard HASP drivers. So I then tried to install the Maya 8.5 SP1 Patch 8 which supposedly fixes the the USB problem however that Patch doesn’t seem to install properly on Leopard or Snow Leopard. Uninstall fails to work on Snowleopard as well so I am not too sure that I am cleaning up everything I need to.

An help would be appreciated as I am now about a week at this.

Mark
