Continuing a post from the old forums…

I’m also having this problem and I’m hoping someone has a solution.  Converting my image plane to TIFF and PNG didn’t help at all.

Like the original poster, I am using an Intel MacBook Pro with the ATI X1600.  Unlike him, I am using the PLE.

Clarification… I only see the alpha error in 4-camera mode.  Going full screen with any particular camera gives me proper alpha view.  This was the case with the original JPGs as well.

Is your video card on the list of supported hardware? If not, then you’re taking all sorts of chances.

Maya is actually a hardware-software combination.

Now that Maya 2008 is dominating the Maya web site, I don’t know where to find system requirements for 8.5.  Doesn’t seem to be anything in the built-in help either.

Does anyone have a pointer?
